Vaunt Data Processing Policy
This Vaunt Data Processing Policy (“Data Processing Policy”) sets forth the rules under which Vaunt uses information collected from developers, and those developers’ rights with respect to such information. This Data Processing Policy relates solely to information collected by Vaunt during the course of a developer using Vaunt’s product offering.
Does Vaunt collect personal information from or about developers?
Vaunt may collect a variety of information that is considered personal information under applicable laws. “Personal information,” for purposes of this Data Processing Policy and unless otherwise defined by applicable law, means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household.
What types of personal information might Vaunt collect from developers?
Vaunt may collect the following categories of information from developers:
- Identifiers such as real name, alias, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers;
- Inferences such as any inferences drawn from any of the information collected to create a profile about the consumer (e.g., demographics).
For what purposes does Vaunt collect data from the developer?
Vaunt collects personal information for business and commercial purposes solely as necessary to provide Vaunt’s products and services to developers.
Does Vaunt sell any personal information of developers?
No. Vaunt in no way sells any personal information collected from or about developers.
May developers access the personal information that Vaunt has collected about the developer?
Yes. Developers may request access to all the categories of personal information that Vaunt has collected about the developer and all of the specific pieces of personal information that Vaunt has collected about the developer. To exercise this right, developers should submit a verifiable request to Vaunt by either calling 855.562.4282 or emailing privacy@vaunt.dev.
Additionally, developers have access to an application program interface allowing the developer to view what data Vaunt has collected about the developer and the ability to delete or modify that data, provided the developer is properly authenticated.
May developers request that Vaunt delete any personal information that Vaunt has collected about the developer?
Yes. Developers may request that Vaunt delete any personal information that Vaunt has collected about the developer, subject to certain exceptions for business purposes (e.g., if Vaunt needs to process the personal information in order to provide the very product or service for which the developer engaged Vaunt). Once Vaunt receives and confirms your verifiable request, Vaunt will delete the developer’s personal information from Vaunt’s records, unless an exception applies. To exercise this right, developers should submit a verifiable request to Vaunt by either calling 855.562.4282 or emailing privacy@vaunt.dev.
Where does Vaunt store its collected information?
Vaunt distributes and stores all of the information it collects in secure servers located in the United States. As such, all personal information provided by a developer to Vaunt is hosted on servers located in the United States.
